Hi, and welcome to my website. I’m a wife, mom, columnist, author, former church-land employee, M.Div grad and most of the time, a coffee chugging chauffeur to whatever teenager is around and dog walker to our two Bernese Mountain Dogs here on the north shore of Boston.

“The Healed Heart of Christmas” available on Amazon in both paperback and Kindle. Using this 25 day Christmas devotional, we’ll look at ways we try to fix our own hearts and why that only leads to frustration, disappointment and failure. This Christmas, we need hearts that are healed. The good news is that the story of Christmas is a story about how Jesus takes our broken, cold, misguided hearts that are full of longing and offers to heal them by giving us His own heart. This Christmas your heart doesn’t have to be broken; instead it can be full of joy, celebration and healing.
I’ve written two other theology-for-everyone books, Exodus to Advent: God’s Christmas plan for you, and for me and Echoes of I AM: Life’s Big Questions Answered in God’s Great Name

In addition, I write essays, Bible studies, and articles. I spent 11 years, as the Director of Women’s Ministries and Adult CE coordinator at First Presbyterian North Shore, Ipswich where I learned the importance of what it means to be the ‘person who knows how to make the coffee’ in a church setting along with all the church-land things.
